"ARTEFACTS?" deals with the question of how historical grave goods could look in the 21st century. What shapes our time? What is important to "modern" people? What objects do we encounter in everyday life?
Smartphones and to-go cups are currently everyday companions - in the distant future, the functions of these objects will probably have to be questioned again.
Viewers are being encouraged to look at these "artefacts" from the perspective of future inhabitants of the earth and at the same time to question the absurdities of the current age, which is characterised by technology and consumption. (2019)
